| After introducing the now highly successful
Arab-Mediterranean music with the previous release BAILA HABIBI,
this is the second collection by this group of Artists, of Arab,
Spanish and Center-America origin, recorded in Paris, London
and Hollywood, coordinated and produced by the great musician,
author and producer SHAD FARSHAD RABBANI.
Besides the two magnificent "covers" in latin-arab
version of "Yo vivire" and
"Il verano se fue" ("l'Etè Indien")
the CD contains 12 original songs, all to be enjoyed both
for listening and for dancing, which respect the new trend
of the "new latin sound", the new frontier of the
latin-American music, which, from the roots of Gypsy Kings'
Spanish-Mediterranean sound and of Arab music, through the
new arrangements and technologies gets to a new contemporary
musical taste.
The singers MERA, LUI LA FE, SHAD, GYPSY KALY, already starring
in "Baila Habibi 1" are now joined by the new MARISOL,
GULSEREN, DANY ACHKAR, ILAN KABILJO, while BAILA HABIBI GROUP
offers the beautiful song "Chiquita" which closes
the album.
It is certainly an album at high standards in all senses
which, although offering an high quality product, is intentionally
sold at a very competitive low price, for fighting this way
the current trend of musical piracy and of "internet
downloading" and copying.
